christmas? in the middle of summer?

nonetheless, this is one of my FAVORITE episodes of all time.

opening quote: i never thought i'd have friends like this wormmon. - ken. awwwww.

and ken gets his first lame line! "this christmas party was a bad idea. i should forget the whole thing. but what am i going to do with all that eggnog?" he's too cute.

was there a line cut out? doesn't matt's dad say something like "but we don't have a dog?" after matt says "the surprise is on you, i fed it to the dog!"

you gotta love the drama between Matt/Tai/Sora too! (also love kari's jacket) how sora made matt cookies... how it gets all awkward when tai shows up... so, um, sora, are you going to the concert with anyone? - no, i wanna be available in case matt's free afterwards - oh, so matt, huh? - i'll be waiting.

and matt's concert!! i LOVE this song. they sit there everyday. and even know - it may not always be that way. you can't take nothing for granted. i turn around and i can see what's behind me.

YAY MATT'S BAND!! i figured out their "you can't take nothing for granted" song on guitar, if anyone is interested.

i like how the guitar solo is ripping while matt's standing there not doing anything. just saying.

and the adorable party at ken's house. gotta love ken's smile. and davis asking "how about strip poker?" and ken's mommy.

i also adore the three men from the t.v station. the guys that had that whole to-do during the first season's battle in the real world with myostismon? they're too funny. i love those supporting characters.

"oh boy. we should make it a rule that davis and tai aren't allowed to be together in the same room" - kari.

there is SO MUCH digivolving in this episode!!

Season 2. Episode 27. "Fusion Confusion" // the second Digimon Movie - Diaboromon strikes back.

Questions:
1) Why can't Gatomon digivolve to Angewoman? She was able to just a couple of episodes ago...?
2) In the (first) movie, Angemon and Angewoman have to digivolve to their ultimate (mega?) forms in order to release the golden digieggs. Since when are there 2 golden digieggs? How did Angemon/woman end up with them? And since when could Angewoman digivolve to that hairy dragon-looking thing?
3) Matt's Dad was a digidestined??
4) What's the difference between Imperialdramon and Imperialdramon Fighter Mode? (who cares, he's SO COOL!)
5) Where's Willus this whole time? (Second movie) What's up with Tai's voice? When was this made/released?
